Blue Wren Cafe is a fun quirky oasis. Good German sausages, though mine could have used more sauce. Good pizza. Green and lush with plenty of birds and activities to keep the kids amused. Even chess,

Lovely place with super friendly staff. Stayed in the Farmhouse for a few nights and the room was nice and clean. Shared amenities also clean. Blue Wren Cafe offers multiple great meals and the home made gelato is to die for! There’s a nice pool and plenty of walks to do through the Pilliga Forest. The pottery is also very nice, a fun quirky place and we did two workshops with Camilla and Joel that were super fun! Thank you Pilliga Pottery for this experience

Wonderful farmstay! Walked through all the beautiful handmade pottery at reception. We went to drive over the creek to get to The Farmhouse in our small car (arriving just after a night of heavy rainfall) and became bogged. We are very grateful for all the staff and guests who helped us out. A big thank you to them all! Lovely room, wish we had stayed for more than one night to enjoy more! I’d suggest a minimum two night stay. We ate some yummy pizza and salad at the cafe for dinner and the waiter took great care of us. Watch out for kangaroos on the dirt road driving in/out (especially at dawn or dusk), luckily we managed to avoid them.

Had the most refreshing time here. Kids got to feed the animals, go for bush walks, learn how to make pottery, swim in the pool, jump on the trampoline and run around in the fresh air. Such a healthy way to spend their holiday instead of on screens. The service was warm and welcoming and the food at the cafe was great.

What l loved; their farm life is amazing, insan front of door u will see kangaroos, cows, chicken all was amazing and peacefully. There food was delicious, staffs were so kind nd has positive vibes. At night u can enjoy all stars while glabing your wine. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and ++ they were sensitive about sustainability, loved these parts. What can be improve; after main road u need to drive 10km inside which is dead road (earth) and in summertime room was so hot and AC was not working

Highly recommend the 10km dirt road detour off the highway to visit this cafe and pottery house. The owner has an amazing story and has worked hard to create this beautiful place as something of a refuge in an otherwise harsh landscape. I had German sausages with sauerkraut from the menu, but there was also vegetarian halloumi sandwich, or pizzas. And the gelati is amazing!
